Build a UV Gang Sheet
Ultraviolet Direct to Film printing is an innovative technology that allows for the transfer of digitally printed images onto various materials and surfaces. In UV DTF , tailor made graphics or images are meticulously printed onto specialized transfer paper using UV-curable inks. This process enhances the visual appeal of the transferred design and imbues it with remarkable durability and versatility. UV DTF transfers find applications in creating vibrant, durable designs on non-porous surfaces like plastics, metals, ceramics, glass, and more. If you are looking to personalize cups, glassware, or other items, UV DTF prints offer a creative and long-lasting solution.

Instructions

• Prep Your SurfaceClean the surface where you want to apply the UV DTF transfer, we recommend a mixture of rubbing alcohol and water. The cleaner the surface, the more permanent the transfer will be against elements and wear and tear.

• Separate the Clear Carrier Sheet from the White Backing
Carefully peel the clear carrier sheet away from the white backing. If the transfer is not lifting off of the white backing, gently lay it back down and rub over it with a squeegee or credit card before trying to remove it again. Thinner and separated designs such as small text should be peeled slower.

• Place Your UVDTF
Identify the placement area, lay the design down; starting from one side and ending at the other. This helps control placement, reduces bubbles underneath, and avoids wrinkling of the carrier sheet.

• Complete the Process
After placing the decal, use the squeegee or credit cart and run over the top of the carrier sheet 3-5 times. Slowly peel the carrier sheet. Watch your decal as you remove the carrier sheet to ensure every element of the design remains on your item. If you notice one lifting, gently lay the carrier sheet back down and apply pressure again, then try pulling that specific area from a different side.
